I’ve known Isaac Watson for a few years, now, and our conversation on the latest episode of Compulsory exemplifies why, in addition to enjoying interviewing people I’ve never met, I love speaking with friends on the podcast. The narrow (yet sometimes maddeningly broad) focus of the show allows me to essentially grill people I know well about something I otherwise wouldn’t badger them about in casual conversation. I just loved listening to the measured way Isaac talked about projects that are such an important part of his life. It was a treat.
